Senior Next.js Engineer
Own the frontend architecture for our highest-impact client products. You'll ship production Next.js applications, mentor junior engineers, and help define our technical standards.
Compensation: ₹20L – ₹35L per year
About the role
We build modern, performant web applications for businesses across fintech, e-commerce, and SaaS. As a Senior Next.js Engineer, you'll be a technical lead on our most complex client engagements — owning architecture decisions, reviewing code, and shipping features that directly impact our clients' users.
You'll work closely with our design and product teams, collaborating daily with clients who care about craft and outcomes. This isn't a ticket-shuffling role — you'll own your scope from kickoff to deploy.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience with React and TypeScript
- Strong command of Next.js App Router, Server Components, and the ISR/SSG model
- Experience with headless CMS integrations (Sanity, Contentful, or similar)
- Solid understanding of web performance, Core Web Vitals, and accessibility
- Comfortable owning features end-to-end, including API design and database queries
- Excellent written communication — most project coordination happens async
Responsibilities
- Lead frontend architecture on 2–3 concurrent client projects
- Review pull requests and uphold code quality standards across the team
- Collaborate with designers to turn Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible UIs
- Identify performance bottlenecks and drive optimisation efforts
- Mentor mid and junior engineers through pairing and structured feedback
- Contribute to internal tooling and shared component libraries
